Dissociative identity disorder (DID, also known as multiple personality disorder) is a psychiatric diagnosis. According to the DSM its essential feature “…is the presence of two or more distinct identities or personality states…that recurrently take control of behavior.”
The diagnosis requires that at least two personalities (one may be the host) routinely take control of the individual’s behavior with an associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness.Memory loss will occur in those with DID when an alternate part of the personality becomes dominant. DID is less common than other dissociative disorders, occurring in approximately 10% of dissociative disorder cases and .5-1% of the general population.Women tend to outnumber men in this disorder, resulting in about a 9:1 ratio.
Symptoms
Current memory loss of everyday events
Depersonalization
Depression
Derealization
Disruption of identity characterized by two or more distinct personality states
Flashbacks of abuse/trauma
Frequent panic/anxiety attacks
Identity confusion
Mood swings
Multiple mannerisms, attitudes and beliefs
Paranoia
Psychotic-like symptoms such as hearing voices
Self-alteration (feeling as if one’s body belongs to someone else)
Sudden anger without a justified cause
Spontaneous trance states
Unexplainable phobias

Mysterious Flying Object

Aviation authorities are scratching their heads over a mysterious flying object in the skies above Colorado that almost caused a mid-air crash. The object was sighted by a commercial jet pilot, who claimed to air traffic controllers that some kind of flying craft got too close for comfort on Monday.

In a transmission that appeared on LiveATC.net, the operator of the Cessna Citation 525 CJ1 says: ‘A remote controlled aircraft, or what? ‘Something just went by the other way … About 20 to 30 seconds ago. It was like a large remote-controlled aircraft.’

A spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration, Mike Fergus, told 9News that it is working to get some answers, and that if the pilot’s story is true, such an object can be extremely dangerous.

In an emailed statement to USA Today, the agency said: ‘The FAA is investigating the incident and will try to positively identify the object the Citation pilot reported, where it came from and who was operating it.’

9News reported the Citation was about 8,000 feet above sea level, or about 2,800 feet above the ground, at the time the pilot reported the seeing the object.

The meaning of Flying in Dreams
If you are flying with ease and are enjoying the scene and landscape below, then it suggests that you are on top of a situation. You have risen above something. It may also mean that you have gained a new and different perspective on things. Flying dreams and the ability to control your flight is representative of your own personal sense of power.
Having difficulties staying in flight indicates a lack of power in controlling your own circumstances. You may be struggling to stay aloft or stay on set course. Things like power lines, trees, or mountains may be obstacles that you encounter in flight. These obstacles symbolize something or someone who is standing in your way in your waking life. You need to identify what or who is trying to prevent you from moving forward. Difficulty flying may also be an indication of a lack of confidence or some hesitation on your part. You need to believe in yourself and not be afraid.
If you are feeling fear when you are flying or that you are flying too high, then it suggests that you are afraid of challenges and of success. Perhaps you are not ready to take the next step.

Ceromancy is the art of divination by dropping melted candle wax in a pan of cold water. Some people also use the term ceromancy to describe divination by any drippings or shapes formed on th side of a candle. Most people simply light a taper and tip the candle at about a 145 degree angle over a pan of water to allow the wax to drip into the cold water.
One Italian method of ceromancy is recorded in Judika Illes, The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells, 2004 (p. 307)
Bind two tapers—not dripless beeswax candles—with scarlet ribbons. Set these candles standing up right in a pan of cold water. Place in the water, nettle leaves, cumin seeds, three rose hips, and a few sprigs of rue.
Light the candles. Observe the wax dripping into the cold water. Interpret any shapes formed by the hot wax solidifing in the cold water. The ultimate interpretation of what a shape is and what it means is up to you.

Below are some “commonly accepted” meanings for the shapes that sometimes result. I do not know if any of these meanings are associated with Italian folklore or not.
Airplane: A trip or a disappointment.Anchor: Your loved one is faithful.Ball: Your problem will roll away. Bed: A restful holiday would be good for you.Bells: A wedding. Bird: News is coming. Bridge: Time to take a chance.Broom: Time to sweep in a change.Candle: Spiritual growth. Chain: Go ahead with your plans.Circle: Time of reconciliation. Cloud: Something or someone threatens you with a stormy situation.Cross: You are protected. Ear: Listen for opportunities to advance in your work.Egg: There will soon be new developments. Fan: A surprise is coming.Feather: The problem will be solved.Ghost: Someone from the past is looking for you.Grass: Good fortune grows. Heart: Friendship becomes love.House: Better times are coming. Leaf: There will soon be changes.Lion: An unpleasant situation. Moon: More money may be coming.Mountain: Close friends are willing to help. Pen: Letter from a friend or relative. Ring: Marriage may happen in the near future. Scissors: Separation. Snake: Beware. Spider web: Pleasant occurrences.Star: Happiness.Sun: Good fortune. Table: An abundance of blessings.Tree: A good time for new ventures. Walking Stick: Go and visit friends.Wheel: Travel, or someone journeys home soon.

Liew Thow Lin of Malaysia is known as the “Magnet Man”  or “Mr. Magnet”because he has the ability to stick metal objects to his body.
Liew has performed in many charity events showing his ability.[citation needed] He can make metal objects, weighing up to 2 kg each, up to 36 kg total, stick to his skin. He has also pulled a car using this ability.
Liew’s ability is not due to any source of magnetism. Scientists from Malaysia’s University of Technology found no magnetic field in Lin’s body, but did determine that his skin exhibits very high levels of friction, providing a “suction effect”. The trait appears to be genetic, appearing in Lin’s three grandchildren.

Exploding head syndrome is a parasomnia condition that causes the sufferer occasionally to experience a tremendously loud noise as originating from within his or her own head, usually described as the sound of an explosion, roar, gunshot, loud voices or screams, a ringing noise, or the sound of electrical arcing (buzzing).
This noise usually occurs within an hour or two of falling asleep, but is not necessarily the result of a dream and can happen while awake as well While the sound is perceived as extremely loud, it is usually not accompanied by pain. Attacks appear to change in number over time, with several attacks occurring in a space of days or weeks followed by months of remission. Sufferers often feel a sense of fear and anxiety after an attack, accompanied by elevated heart rate. Attacks are also often accompanied by perceived flashes of light (when perceived on their own, known as a “visual sleep start”) or difficulty in breathing. The condition is also known as “auditory sleep starts”. It is not thought to be dangerous, although it is sometimes distressing to experience. Sufferers may experience an inability to vocalize any sound, or mild forms of sleep paralysis during an attack.
In some cases repeated attacks lead to the sufferer gaining a fear of sleeping or resting, as this is the most common time for attacks to take place, and this can lead to the development of sleeping disorders such as insomnia.

Psychokinesis (from the Greek  ”psyche”, meaning mind, soul, heart, or breath; and”kinesis”, meaning motion, movement; literally “mind-movement”), also referred to as telekinesis with respect to strictly describing movement of matter, sometimes abbreviated PK and TK respectively, is a term coined by publisher Henry Holt to refer to the direct influence of mind on a physical system that cannot be entirely accounted for by the mediation of any known physical energy (i.e. moving objects with the mind). Examples of psychokinesis could include distorting(such as bending a fork) or moving an object, and influencing the output of a random number generator.
The study of phenomena said to be psychokinetic is part of parapsychology. Some psychokinesis researchers claim psychokinesis exists and deserves further study, although the focus of research has shifted away from large-scale phenomena to attempts to influence dice and then to random number generators.
